So currently, I'm pushing myself to get in sick shape (not to be mistaken with sickly)...I mean really pushing myself. In fact last night, that's exactly what I had to do...push myself to work-out, no matter how bad I didn't want to. But I did it! I did my Shred and loved it once I was done. Isn't that always the way? It's hard to get yourself going, but once you do, you feel great and that feeling of accomplishment is sooo sweet.
Why the sick shape endeavor you ask? Well I'm singing in the Springbirds Cabaret later this month at Don't Tell Mama's and I want to wear my sexy, slinky gown for the event...thus we've got to tame the jiggly bits and bumps...OH and it's going to be filmed and on Television later this year...so you know about the camera and those lovely extra 10 lbs. PLUS Summer's right around the corner, which means skimpy clothes and bathing suits (possibly a bikini?) We'll see what good I can do as the Summer months quickly encroach...and as always my Birthday falls in the middle of Summer, so we've officially started our annual Birthday Challenge! That's right kids...I personally have until July 24th to drop some poundage and tone the wobblies for that extra special birthday outfit (TBD at a later shopping trip)...but you know it's going to be chic and fantastic!
So who's game...who's up for doing The Birthday Challenge with me? More or less 2 and a half months to eat healthy, bust your butt working-out and getting those beautifying Z's. Let's do it!
