I'm doing well so far in my new found sleep induced lifestyle. I'm happy to say that I've cut back on the unnecessary calories, have been eating clean and have seen a 6 lb. drop in the past 2 weeks. It's nice to see the scale finally go in the other direction and very encouraging. The only foreseeable bumps and detours I see in the road are social events. I've had to avoid the drinking, and junk food that is around when you're out with friends...and this Sunday is Superbowl, which is generally synonymous with pizza, chips, chicken wings, and beer...you know crap food that has next to no nutritional value. One of my lovely friends is throwing a Saints party and will be providing Oysters on the Halfshell, Peel-and-Eat Shrimp, Shrimp Creole, Red Beans & Rice, and Bread Pudding...mostly things I can't eat (especially since I'm allergic to shellfish). So the Maestro recommended that I just prepare my own meal and take it with me, thus to enjoy the game without the stress of the eats. Oh, and on a nice note, my friend who is throwing the party will be making special gulten-free bread pudding for some of the guests, so I may indulge in that a bit.
So now that I've got the food and eating under control currently, and the sleeping is in order, I've now got to find my exercise inspiration. Time to really get myself back in the gym and really push myself. Please do share anything that inspires you to get your butt to the gym and stay there.
Best,
Bex
